Some "sex offenders" are dangerous, but many are registered for public urination, taking innocent naked baby pictures, or consensual sex with a high-school lover. Over 500,000 SOs are banished from cities, denied employment, and vilified, distracting from truly dangerous sexual criminals. Most of these victims are young people of color, but range from mentally ill young people to 80 year old grandmothers. Most of these shoot outs take place on our streets! Join us for our “No More Stolen Lives" workshop where family members of victims will partake in this and relate to you the need to get involved in your neighborhoods! We will discuss police repression of young people, police killings and the movement for justice for the people who have been murdered by the police state.
